OUR MISSION:
Our Vision is to Encourage the Creation and Appreciation of Visual Art in the Elgin and Fox Valley Area.

WHAT WE ARE ABOUT...
Art for All was established in 1996 to encourage and promote local artists. In 1998 we became a 501C.3 non-profit organization to bring artists and the public together. We are a community-minded art group with a diversity of talent from all walks of life.
Art is for everyone!

Art for All has two-dimensional and three-dimensional artists working in almost every medium. In our Art Collection of you will see Watercolors, Oils, Pastels, Charcoal, Fiber, Glass, Mosaics, Metal, Jewelry, Pen and Ink, Mixed Media, Photography and much more..
VENUES
Art for All members have an opportunity to exhibit their art, with no commission fees, at a variety of local locations.

Currently we have rotating shows at Elgin City Hall, The Centre of Elgin, Carswells Flooring, Hawthorn Hill Nature Center, and The Association for Individual Development. Art for All members also have the opportunity to show works at the annual Winter Show in the main lobby of the Gail Borden Library.
We continually look to find new spaces for our artists to show their work.

ART AND SOUL, on the fox
The 2nd annual Art and Soul on the Fox. was a success thanks to the 80 artists that joined this year. The fest will be held every year on the last weekend in July. The location for Art and Soul on the Fox will be DuPage Court and South Grove Avenue, in downtown Elgin, just north of Festival Park.

Art for All was the main sponsor. We wish to thank the many sponsors that made this possible. The City of Elgin, Elgin Cultural Arts Commission, the Rosen Automotive Group, the Grove Interstate Partners, and the Daily Herald were all instrumental in the success of this event. We also wish to thank the numerous performers who donated their time to entertain the crowds.

The main sponsor for 2011 is Art for All with support from the City of Elgin.
Art for All is seeking corporate and individual sponsors to support this venue for artists. If you would like more information or donate please contact Sigi Psimenos at sigiusa@yahoo.com.

This is a much sought after Juried Art Fair and all Artists and Artisans are encouraged to submit their work. We anticipate Art for All cash prizes up to $1,000 and awards up to $2,000 from the ECAC. The application will be available on line in early 2011. We filled our spaces quickly this year and encourage you to submit your application early.

MEETINGS
We invite artists and non-artists to join us at our monthly meetings.
Our General Meeting is held the second Tuesday of each month at the Elgin Community Church located at 991 Deborah Ave in Elgin.
We begin with a social half hour for networking, at 7:00 pm and our speaker or program starts at 7:30pm. Meetings rotate between demonstrations, guest speakers, art lectures, videos, and critique sessions.

Our Board Meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month.
The Board meets at Sandy Kaptain's home located at 749 Scott, Elgin, IL 60123. Meetings begin at 7:00pm.

Membership information and forms may be received at one of our meetings or by emailing us at info@artforall-elgin.com.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Every year Art for All makes available a $500 Academic Scholarship to art students in the Fox Valley area. This year we are able to provide two scholarships. The deadline for applicants is December 1, 2010. If you know of any art students that meet the requirements please direct them to our website to download the application. Artists are creative and individualistic by nature, but by working in a group we can get more done than doing it alone.

We welcome new members...artists and non-artists alike.
Come help us help you.
